House Organised and Clean
People who are not considered “clean” can tend to resign themselves to the notion that they are either clean or they aren’t. Cleanliness, however, is not something we’re born with. Cleaning products may not be used correctly, or you may simply have bad habits when it comes to cleaning, but all it takes is creativity and resourcefulness. Here are some tips.
Cleaning one room at a time
Instead of cleaning the kitchen, the bathroom, and then the bedroom, picking only one task and doing it in every room in the house is a much more efficient way of cleaning. This way, the same task does not feel like an endless cleaning cycle where you keep repeating the same thing.
Keep all your cleaning tools together in a toolbox
When you have everything you need in one place, it’s easier to clean. Whether it’s a caddy, bucket, or bag, having everything handy makes the job much easier. Cleaning will be quicker and less stressful when you don’t have to think about gathering tools before your next cleanup.
Clutter must be cleared
Take the time to pick up clutter in every room before you start cleaning. Consider whether to put things away, throw them away or donate them as you pick up each item – magazines, old sneakers, well-read books.
Dust and vacuum
Make sure you turn off the ceiling fans before you begin dusting. Don’t forget to dust surfaces including furniture tops, undersides of shelves, photo frames, and TV screens. Cleaning your floors with a vacuum is one of the most important things a homeowner can do. Under budget vacuum cleaners are available in many different varieties, each with its own set of pros and cons. When it comes to cleaning, it would be wise to carry out proper research before you buy a vacuum cleaner.
Clean glass, mirrors and tools
For cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces, use a damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry cloth. Keeping your cleaning tools in good condition is an important aspect of cleaning the house. You will end up spending more time trying to clean with a dirty mop or a full vacuum bag.
Disinfect countertops and surface areas
From countertops, cabinets, appliances, TV remotes, light switches, TV remotes, and telephones, wipe down all the hard surfaces in your home. Especially disinfect surfaces that can be a source of germs on people’s fingers and faces. By mixing one-fourth to half a cup of vinegar with one cup of water, you can create a nontoxic disinfection solution.
Clean tubs, sinks, and toilets
Start by cleaning the kitchen sink, then brush the bathroom sinks, toilets, and tubs. Let the cleaner sit for a few minutes so it can dissolve dust and stains. After a few minutes, start scrubbing. Be sure to clean the microwave inside. Finish by cleaning the toilet.
Sweep, then mop
The bathroom and kitchen floors should be vacuumed. Ensure you mop the room in a direction from the farthest corner towards the doorway. Rinse the mop after you’ve completed a four-by-four-foot area.
Keep moving when you vacuum
If you vacuum, do not be concerned with getting every corner, nook, and cranny. As you move from one carpeted room to another, run the vacuum in every room that is carpeted in one pass through the house.
It is not necessary to complete every task every week. Washing rugs and bath mats, waxing furniture, and cleaning windows are some of the tasks to be completed. Use your own judgment when inspecting these accessories.
Recycle and sort your paper
There is constant correspondence, invoices, advertisement cards, catalogs, and school papers coming in. By setting them aside, the pile takes over the dining table or the counter in the kitchen. As a result, we are overwhelmed by the stack and do not take action, so it continues to grow. Make sure to deal with your mail every day. It’s easy to deal with junk mail if you have a shredder in the kitchen or somewhere else. Place bills in a sorter so you can pick them up on payday, and dispose of flyers.
Make use of doormats
You will need to clean your floor less frequently the less soil you track indoors. Use doormats at all exterior doors to keep soil out. Clean them regularly outside by vacuuming or shaking. You can increase the amount of debris trapped by additional mats outside your garage door.
